Car crash took a boys life infront of me

On saturday 24th just before midnight, me my dad and my sister we're stopped in the road by a car crash, one of the cars was on fire at first we sat in shock until my sis saw someone in the car, all of us jumped out to rescue the man. My dad passed his phone to my sis and she phoned an ambulance and fire engine, while me and my dad pulled the man out of the car. No one else started to help until we shouted for it.
We then looked over to the burning car and saw 2 boys still inside, my dad pulled one out one in the front and then we went over to get the other in the back seat, i just remember the smoke building up as we tried to pull the boy out, i remember he's foot getting stuck and i suddenly couldn't see infront of my face i had to back away from the car, the smoke was just too overwhelming.
My dad and 2 other men managed to free the boy, and moved him away from the car, he wasn't breathing, so a nurse who was in a nearby car came over and asked for my help we started trying to revive him, she told me to take a deep breath and blow twice, we tried a few times but it was too last, we could hear him choking like he's lungs we're punctured. i found out today that he's name was larry hall, my heart goes out to he's family.
The man from the first car is in hospital with head injuries, broken hip and a broken leg, i hope he recovers soon.
I still can not get that boys face out of my head, i dont think i ever will, seeing a boy die and being powerless to save him will stay with me forever, but knowing that we pulled him out and he didn't suffer burning in the car, and knowing that he's family have a body to bury gives me some peace, i can not imagine how much pain he's family are going through, im so sorry for their loss.

im sure that with time, you will find it easier to cope with - and although a life was lost, if you didnt stop to help, it could have been more
