On a rather girly note.... my cousin and I went to the first possible showing of the Sex and the City movie. It was three theaters packed with mostly college aged girls (and a couple brave boyfriends). I fucking LOVED IT. I don't care who knows it any more - I am a hopeless romantic and daydreamer. I held that part of me back in my last two year relationship - and I think that was a mistake.

that's the the sound of the tip of the whip moving at a mach 2 speed. and yes i have done that. but it's also fun to try to wrap the whip around things and swing on it or have it wrap around someone without hurting them. you need to take good care + condition the leather so it doesn't dry out. irl, indy's whip would have dried up and broken apart if he just kept it out on his side all the time.
