Ah, the weather looks excellent for this day of shenanigans. Yes, that's right, it's time for
HOT TUB PAR-TAY!
Yesterday was my little sister's birthday (she's 24, but she'll always be little to me) and my dog's birthday (she celebrated by eating a brillo pad, apparently). I wish I could've been with the both of them, but they're still down in Cajun country.
Currently working on a seat for the World Series of Poker, but I've been robbed thus far (ask hansel, he witnessed some of it last night). In order to get a seat, I have to come place in the top 30 out of....the number varies per tourney, but it's usually a solid 2000. If I make that, I play in a much smaller tourney, in which I must place in the top 10. That gives me the seat at the WSOP. Now, last fall I placed 15th out of 2200 players, so I know I can do this, but my poker luck seems to be mirroring my life luck of late, and I've yet to come close. I have a few more chances, though (trying again at 1 p.m. today), and thankfully the entry is free.
I feel.....slightly insane this mornig, which is likely the proper mindset for tonights shindig.

Good Luck at the poker AND in the hottub tonight. Wish I could be joining you, but I'm apparrently dancing in the streets of Hood River tonight....it will either be really cool or totally suck, probably no in-betweens.
