All sorts of things are afoot.

Had a date on Friday (I know, I was fairly shocked as well). I think it went pretty well, and we're going out again this week, which already makes it the most successful relationship I've had in Portland.

Took my little brother on his first-ever fishing trip. He caught a nice trout. I tried to convince him to kiss it, but he wouldn't bite (pun intended). The cleaning process thoroughly disgusted him, and me as well. I don't really have a problem doing it, as I grew up with that shit back in Louisiana, but there is a reason that I'm strictly catch-and-release these days.

Mikael is going to help me cut a demo tape for reading audiobooks (he's produced about 100 of them, I believe). This is a lifelong dream of mine, so I'm fucking pumped for the chance. Getting paid to read.....*sigh*......

I have to write a speech for the mayor tomorrow. Seriously. He comes from a small town in Mississippi that I used to live near, so I might have to throw in some homespun anecdotes.
