Ok, I'm ready for a good week here. One major deadline at work is finished. Progress on the 2nd one probably isn't at the level that the bosses wanted, but that's what happens when you assign one person to do the tasks of several, and then have the person bounce between the projects without time to focus.
Payday tomorrow, and it should be just enough to carry me to student loans on the 27th.
Tonight I go meet my potential Little Brother and his mom. If all goes well, we'll be having our first outing this weekend, I imagine. Maybe I'll teach him to shotgun Pabst.....
Tomorrow I should be paying rent on my place in Milwaukie for the final time. October should find me in new digs, most likely in Clinton/Belmont/Hawthorne, but possibly over in the NW. Who knows. Any place is better than Milwaukie. Except maybe Gresham.
