Well, we had the big Trivial Pursuit match, but some people wussed out and forced us to lower it to a 10 dollar ante. The game took us 5 hours to complete. I was the first to obtain all 6 pie pieces, but I couldn't close the fucking game out by getting back to the center, and someone else snuck in. So close, and I really could have used that cash to remedy my overdrawn bank account. No worries though, I have my next student loan check coming on Monday.
I always get myself something fun out of each loan check before I use the rest for bills and savings. This time it looks like a banjo (or a cello, can't decide) and a trip to visit a friend in the Ukraine. Should I get a banjo or a cello? The cello is my overall favorite instrument, but a decent one is pricey, and I'm not sure how difficult it will be to teach myself the cello. I did it with guitar and bass, as many people do, and I'm sure there are self-taught cellists.
School is over for the summer. Let us romp naked in the sprinkler spray.
