Man, I'm feeling foggy today. Woke up face down on the couch with all my clothes on, have no recollection of even sitting on the couch yesterday.
The PDX BBQ was a pretty good success, I think. Thanks much To Germany and her roommates for hosting us! I think (hope) we cleaned up pretty well. Lots of food, lots of drink, lots of friendly peoples. Damn glad I finally got off my dead ass and went to an event. Time to make friend requests now. Will write more later, when I'm not feeling quite so retarded.
Two things that surprised me:
Ryan is way taller than I would have thought.
Louise has a much smaller voice than I would have thought.
Neither of which are bad things, just not what I expected. That's the best part about meeting folks that you've already "talked" to in a way and seen pictures of, the dispelling of preconcieved ideas about them that you didn't even know you had.
Except for DisappearHere. He likes to shotgun beer, which is pretty much what I figured.
