Supposed to be at work right now, but the bosses are off in L.A. for the rest of the week, so I think I'll hole up here until 1, when I can park for half-price.
Saw Kill Bill Vol.1 for the first time last night. Absolutely fucking wild. Tarantino sure loves his massive gouts of blood. Definitely going to have to check out the second one. For those of you who don't know, I really, really don't like movies as a general rule, so this is a pretty ringing endorsement.
Made shepherd's pie for the first time last night. Came out pretty good, but could have been better. Needed some paprika, and I think using garlic mashed potatoes instead of regular would be wicked.
Long day today, work and then class till 9:30 at night, then have to come home and finish getting the place ready for the new roommate. I'm excited to see my friend for the summer, but I'm less than thrilled at sharing my living space again. I think it'll work out though, as long as I remember that the chilled plastic ring in the fridge is her birth control and not something for me to chew on.
