This weekend has actually been a pretty fine weekend so far. Went to the ballet yesterday. Yes, I like the ballet. I even took ballet for a year in high school. There is a semblance of culture in the Louisiana bayous, but you have to dig mighty hard to find it. I'm not really into classical, tutu-wearing ballet, mostly modern stuff like this, where the dancers are tying each other up with ropes to heavy German operas.

After the ballet, I grilled the fattest fucking pork chops I've ever seen and got drunk with my friend's neighbors. One of them kept flashing her boobs, so a big thank you goes out to her . Played some trival pursuit and was asked to play guitar for a noise-rock band. Hopefully going to jam with them next week and see what comes out of this.

Now it's mothers day, but since my mom lives in Louisiana, there isn't much for me to do today. Thinking about doing some planting during the day, maybe catch up on some reading, then vegetate tonight with a 40oz and a vicodin I found in the bathroom.

**Edited to say that I didn't find the vicodin in my bathroom, I sort of heisted one from the bathroom of a party I was at. And stolen vicodin is apparently the best vicodin....aaahhhh....
