Good things are on the horizon. This weekend is the Coachella Festival in Indio, California. The Pixies, Radiohead, The Cure, The Flaming Lips, FSOL, Death Cab for Cutie, Mogwai, etc........the single fucking greatest concert event of my lifetime. Putting my student loans to good use.
Oh, and here's something fucked up. My grandfather went into cardiac arrest last night, and officially died, but they resuscitated him. However, my family had a "do not resuscitate" order on him, as he is in great pain and seems ready to leave. So, the family ordeal drags on...
My mom told me that there won't be a wake or a funeral. After hearing that, I realized that there hasn't been a wake or a funeral for anyone in my family that has died since I've been alive. This makes sense to me, but I can see how many people would consider it odd.

Ooh! A Paulo Coehlo freak! I've read a few of his other books, but that one is, by far, the best. It is probably my very favorite book, too. I think I read it at the right time, and it just clicked.
