Sorry for the long delay in updating, two of my very best friends have been visiting me and I haven't been at the computer much.

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. Pretty nice weekend overall. Ate lots of great food (my visiting friend cooked me some Mississippi food, a chicken fried steak, fried potatoes, etc.), saw the Vagina Monologues, got lots of new records (including a 3 volume Johnny Cash box set for $9) and bought a few books.

And finally got my 12-string. Found a great deal on an Alvarez for $175. It's in great shape and sounds fine, should've sold for around $350. Since I had planned on spending around $500 but spent so little, I used some of the excess to buy a playstation 2. And ebay seems the place to get games! I've been nabbing all sorts of great games for 8 or 9 dollars.

Really wish my friends could've stayed longer, but I have too much work to do. Had a 10-page analysis of the Oregon City budget due this week, wooha.

The date didn't happen. Apparently she was wiped out from 2 soccer games and passed out in front of the TV. Going to try again this weekend.
