I scored a kitten for MLK Day. I volunteered to help weatherize some homes for low-income families. One of the homes was owned by one of those crazy, animal-collecting grandmas. I bonded with a 5-month-old black kitten that has a bad case of the sniffles. The house was disgusting (it was like being back in Mississippi, honestly), so I figured I needed to rescue this critter. Going to try to find a way to get her to the vet without having to pay, since I'm completely broke right now.
Nice to have a pet around the apartment, though. She's pretty cuddly.
