Well, the move to Portland seems to be coming together nicely. Rather than get a roommate and be able to make it on my $800 a month living stipend, I've elected to bust my arse with a second job. I need my own place, where I can decorate how I choose, fall asleep in the bathtub, or play guitar buck nekkid. I think I've found a nice two bedroom place in Milwaukie that is in my price range, so I can actually have a spare room to turn into an office/study/music room.

With less than two weeks left to make the move, things are pretty hectic around here. I've got some major promo work to do with the radio station before I go, and a big interview with Craig Minowa from Cloud Cult (my current favortie CD, rock ass!). It really won't take me too long to pack, and since I've helped about 2000 fuckers move in this town, I'm expecting a good many to show up and help me out.

Not feeling too nervous about making the cross country move, but I do hope I meet some folks that I click with. When I moved to Alaska, I never really made friends (of course, I lived on an island full of bearded fishermen...well, bearded fisherwomen too). Who will I play guitar with in Oregon? More importantly, who can I buy pot from in Oregon? So many questions.....
