My union chapter has been in negotiations since last August! If we don't come to a tentative agreement and ratify a new contract by the end of this month (which is the end of the fiscal year) we could end up negotiating until hell freezes over. It's been worth it, though, since management has eased up on the benefits they wanted to take away from us and they've even put a small cost-of-living adjustment on the table. I hope your new contract is a good one. Solidarity!
