Anime Vegas was cool! Except the fact this was my first con flying solo because Ni-chan had to work. So that kinda sucked. But all the voice actors/actresses were super cool as always. I met and got to talk to Neil Kaplan, who did the voice of Optimus Prime for one of the new animated series. The guy is fuckin hilarious. Definitly my highlught of the con. Actually the best part was the "raw and uncut" VA panel. Oh the stories that were told. Plus its always funny to hear your fave anime characters cussing up a storm. Gots some good feedback concerning my demo and actually my peformances so thats encouraging. Heres to being at AnimeVegas 08 but next year as an invited guest and not an attendee!!!
PS My ShinChan costume didnt go over well but seeing as how like 95% of the con was 17 and under and creaming their pants over Kingdom Hearts Im not surprised. But Laura Bailey (the voice of ShinChan) knew who I was and said I looked awesome and then took a picture with me! She put her arm around me which is bonus points because she fi hi hiiine!!!
