Dirty girls think Im sexy...Well provided Im in a long travel sand car. So this past weekend I went out to Dumont with some buddies from work for the Jeep Jamboree/Presidents Day weekend. Two words. Holy Shit. The dunes looked like something from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. Quads, sand rails, pre-runner trucks, bikes, and Jeeps all driving around in some makeshift town in the middle of nowhere. Totally awesome. We pulled in at night and there were camps and fires and fireballs going into the sky. Oh man it was just absolutely crazy. I rode up Comp Hill, which was pretty cool. Comp hill is about 150-200 ft tall sand dune at a 45 degree angle. Nice ride. No joke and no exagerration there had to be a billion dollars worth of machinery out at the dunes. At night we blew stuff up, because thats what guys do when theyre kinda buzzed and in the middle of nowhere. Sobe bottles half full of 100 octane race gas in the middle of a campfire produce an awesome 30 ft fireball by the way. I didnt get to spend the full weekend out there but it was definitly worth the trip. Cant wait to get out there again...I just need to make sure that sand rail is there again....
