My job fucking sucks. It appears that certain managers have taken it upon themselves to start putting people they dont like on the chopping block and systematically get rid of them. Three people so far have been "suspended indefinitely pending further investigation into false tire repairs." Now I aint gonna lie, I and my co-workers have been known to fudge paperwork to help keep our time up, or to catch up on paper work, or whatever. But for managers to lock down cars to yank wheels and tires to check and make there was a repair for the soul sake of getting rid of people is a straight bitch move. Especially considering that one of the managers (who used to be a mechanic) used to do the same shit ALL THE TIME. And to top it all off, this all started 4 days before Xmas. Thats fucking foul. Why is all this happening? Who knows. Two prevailing theories floating around are 1) City manager wants to get rid of all the people he doesnt like so he can bring in his homies from Pep Boys. And 2) Little Hitler (mechanic turned manager) is making a power move for #1's spot and is just trying to drum up more support for her and make #1 look bad, who by the way nobody in the upper echelons of facility management like to much any ways. And to be honest Im prolly up next on the block. They havent said anything to me since Ive been on light duty and in fact theyve been really cool to me about it. Which considering the way things have gone these past two days, makes me even more suspicious and paranoid. I guess its time to step up the CYA efforts.
