I am so very fortunate to have made so many life long friends and SG Besties through this wonderful community, from members to models and photographers to staff...
When it comes to models, I want to support all my fellow SGs and I want all our Hopefuls to do well! I feel like so many deserve it and put a lot of work in and of course, with there being so many of us, it can be tough making the cut and getting that set of the day to turn Pink. Honestly, I see thousands of models that are so deserving of a SOTD, but there can only be 2 a day so I can understand how difficult it must be for staff choosing them!
One particular model who I've been supporting a while now is the wonderful kind-hearted @Gnomi. Ever since I met @Gnomi back in 2018, I could tell she had something in her that was going to succeed at great things. She was nice to me, she welcomed me with open arms, she was there for me when things upset me and I wanted to talk about it, she gave me advice. Never judgemental and always so caring.
And I've seen her work her ass off for years, producing some amazing sets and stunning cosplays - her version of Gladriel in Lady of light is just one set I can't believe hasn't been made SOTD yet! Yes, I know this is probably the 17th time I've blogged about it but I just love it so much!
Anyway. I think there comes a time when people question what they are doing and whether they can keep going, especially when obstacles seem to get in the way, and I know it's been hard for Gnomi recently in seeing her worth. I felt so crushed knowing how truly amazing she is and how deserving she is of succeeding in all of this, and that she was feeling like it was impossible. I wanted to write a little blog to show her that it's not impossible at all, that she can do this. I encourage each and every one of you to support this amazing human, to give her a follow, like her sets, tell her how amazing she is. Because I believe in her and I really think she'll do amazing things in and out of this community. She has what it takes, she just needs reminding of that.
