I've discovered that I'm obsessed with books about drugs. I'm not sure why, but I am. I love them. Recommend some good ones to me.

Of the suggestions, I've already read Go Ask Alice and Smack.

naked lunch and fear and loathing are both fucking good recomendations. I just started this book today called "writing on drugs" by sadie plant, which is pretty damn cool. you might want to take a look at that. if you wanna just read random cracked up drug writings, you can look over at some of my more fucked up journal enteries. i love writing under the influence.

I was gunna say something about singing after the moment in chat that it was mentioned... but then I read your journal.

A few years back I had a girlfriend with a completely different religeous background than my own. When I met her parents, her dad was disgusted with me and her both. He ook offense to my existance because I didn't have the same beliefs as he did. It wasn't even as though it could be debated, he wouldn't even thing about it. He basically looked me up and down and decided I was worthless. He asked me once if I thought I would convert, as some sort of way to get his approval. Asshole.

So while I don't really know how you feel, I know what it felt like to me and it was horrible. I feel for you. I hope things turn up and I hpe you have a happy new year!
