I'm reminded that I am lucky to even be waking up. I'm reminded that I am one of the fortunate to have this chance.

Stil, the plague continues - epiphanies curved. We all need love. We all want to be understood. We all want this feeling of commitment on some level, at least on the part of ourselves.

Why is the world broken? Why can't we all just understand the basic principles of the human spirit and get along? Why the incessant killing? Is one religion really THAT afraid of another? Is your neighbor really THAT frightened of the other? Is the white of his hand going to erase the black on his face, withTHAT vaulted lead?

We're not THAT different, no matter how much we try to separate ourselves from one another. Break down the actions of most, yeah, inject a bit of thought into the "why" instead of the outcome and we'll see that it all stems from the same cores. It even stems from the same heartaches.

I stand up, stretch, and wonder what the day has in store. I'm interested to find out.

well buddy, montreal is where i'm at. the best place here is a small club called blue dogs on a friday night.. it's where all the hard core old school d&b heads go. the scene is dead here. 4 yrs ago you couldn't throw a stone without hitting a d&b night. not so much anymore.

the city does rock though.

let me know whenever you come down and i'll take you to blue dogs.

sure dude, i'm going there tonight. i'll email you later with the info. but i'm warning you, this place is crazy small. i hope you're not expecting much, and don't expect much money either. my friend used to promo a night there and they suck. you might only get paid like 200 canadian. but the vibe is good. good cool people.
