It would seem to me today moreso than other days that people find it too important to make themselves SEEM witty at the expense of others. However, these same people fail to notice that everyone is looking at them and thinking "wow, why don't you say something intelligent instead of stupid and assinine." Let me give you the deffinition of witty: given to or marked by mature intelligent humor. Hence the all caps "seem" above. Perhaps I am being a bit sensitive today, perhaps I'm just tired of trite people. Trite because they have nothing new or interesting to say - only constant insults. Which is actually giving the opposite reaction to their snarky remarks.

Time would be wiser spent bettering yourself instead of trying to maniupulate others into thinking you are better than the person you put down. Further more, the only time you should look down upon someone is while helping them up. Which if people spent their time doing and educating themselves they would know I just quoted someone famous. However, when you spend all your time insulting things you become part of the problem. Being part of the solution on the other hand is educating yourself and others, which often makes you QUESTION things, instead of bashing them. And questioning things keeps you from being a fool - yet from another quote, acutally from a proverb.

So the point of this rant?
1. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
2. If you want to have a battle of wits with me you better come armed.
