Today is B-rad's 3rd Birthday! ! ! It's so hard to believe that my lil' lovey is no longer a puppy, but is now a doggy. Either way he still has my heart, and has me wrapped around his tail. I think I'm going to spend a good chunk of today spoiling him. I've already started so I may as well continue with his normal way of life - having mommy and gand-ma give him everything he wants.

I just have one Sex and the City-ish thing to say though. How come I have to buy my friend's kids birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, and other things, yet no one buys my poodlin' stuff?!?!?! Is there no recongnition for the fact that I don't want kids and already have one, he isn't a biped, but he's still my kid. I feed him, bathe him, get him a babysitter when needed, love him, spoil him rotten, and even trained him. That's better than most parents do. So, why is it that I get no recognition for being a doggy-mommy when the truth of the matter is, I give you recognition for being a human-mommy?!?!?

I guess I'm just bothered by the fact that even if I threw him a birthday party no one would show up and bring him something. Tsk tsk. I want a gift registry at Petsmart and B-rad said bring him a nice meaty bone, preferably still attatched to the steak.
