I need/want to do something more than I am now.

Ever have that want to make a huge wave in the world but not sure how to do it? Well that's where I am right now. I wonder if I could write a book that would change the world, or even just a few people's lives. Or get some job that makes me happy to wake up in the morning. Or even just makes me want to go to work because I know I'm making a difference.

I need someone to help me though. I see point B, but not how to get to point A. I don't know how to even start. Grrr at feeling this way. ARRR!!!

P.S. Someone needs to play the acronym game with me.

The big problem like i mentioned in my prior blog on the subject there was no clear direction or advice given on what to do. You learned by making mistakes. Deadlines would appear, change, projects would begin, then end abruptly. My boss would deligate via instant messenger from his office. There weren't meetings... no discussion. you just showed up did something after doing something for awhile it got "better" if you weren't sure you asked your peers. Thats how he supervised.

More like inexperienced and incompetent boss but my friend becky's exboyfriend who worked there for three years said they were like that two years ago when he was there.

I am constantly disapointed with myself. I am amazed how many bad advisors I've had throughout my college career. None of my acadamic advisers would help me get an internship citing "thats your job to do on your own." Career advisers who work for purdue and alumni associations just say for me to make my resume bolder and use keywords. One suggested I apply for unskilled labour. They told me to get a job under a professor... I did that... twice. My grading papers job, and my current secondary job of telesurveying.... But I still can't get a real (ie salaried) job anywhere. I don't know what to do.
