So many people rave about James Joyce and he's the idol of many of my favorite authors. A writers writer is always someone you want to read. A while back I picked up Finnegans Wake but I think "Finnegans Wake" was not the way to go. It feels like, if you don't know Gaelic your not gonna dig it. I don't know Gaelic. Maybe I'm just not ready for Finnegan's Wake. Plenty of other Joyce books to tackle and I'm eager to try.
I just saw the Bukowski documentary. Damn that was good. A little slow but very good. I'm so easily swayed by things I see and read. The movie makes me want to write poetry. When I read good comics, I want to make comics. Sci-fi makes me wanna write sci-fi. I need to find a good book where the protagonist cleans and organizes his apartment.
