I haven't done one of these in a while but this is so fun to talk about.
I grew up watching LOST on ABC and it actually still is heartbreaking it's over. Even though a lot of people didn't appreciate the ending. I love this show, this character and actor. How he comes full circle is incredible. When you first find out he is paralyzed and paying for a phone sex operator to be his friend it only makes you feel bad. Then he becomes this incredible adventurer and thrill seeker but off the island,in the flashbacks,he is a mangina that gets picked on by his co-workers. It's always great to re-invent yourself in situations when you can. He didn't even wanna leave the island he just wanted a fresh start. When Locke meet his estranged father only to get his kidney stolen by him and never heard from again it's heart breaking. His never ending story of pain is incredible. A true warrior. Reminds me of my grandfather who suffered from two leg amputations because of diabetes and became "paralyzed".
This picture up top of backgammon from season 1 brings together the story that later unfolds between Jacob and his brother. It's crazy for terry to play those 3 roles. Locke the wimp, Locke the Adventuer bad ass, Locke the twisted tyrant. Amazing job. amazing cast. Watch the show if you haven't.

and then there is Hank moody.
David Duchovny couldn't have played this role any better. Though I hated the Ending of Californication. His story between Karen, being a promiscuous fuck, father and In love with booze and cigarettes was just too perfect. His dialogue is amazing. His lifestyle is one to be jealous of and at the end of the day through all the bullshit. He is just utterly in love in an imperfect world.
Aren't we all? RIP to these two great shows.
