personally i'm not a huge fan of chocolate pancakes. i make my own batter from scratch. add some cinnamon and some finely diced apples. sometimes blueberries. i'll get them all big and fluffy. maple syrup, whipped cream and icing sugar on top, sometimes drizzle the chocolate syrup, depending on who they're for. once you've had my pancakes nothing else will do.
