when most people think of the greatest hockey player ever, they usually think of wayne gretzky. i tell you in a few years this will change.



alexander ovechkin, at 20 years old and in his rookie season is 3rd in goals and 11th in points. as impressive as that is he plays for washington, a team with no other big names at all. if he had someone else to work with he'd have even bigger numbers. i love watching that kid play. crosby has nothing on him.

im going to be doing something pretty stupid this weekend in painting my 360. doing so will require me to crack it open and void the warrenty, so if anything happens to it down the road im screwed, but the prospect of having a black/white 360 sounds too good. i already started on the dvd remote and broke it somehow. luckily theres no security stickers so i just sanded down the chips and it looks as good as new, so unless i missed something i should be able to get a replacement easily. the texture is a little off though and the writing has faded from the sanding but the texture is so minor no one should notice and the fading can be caused simply by wear. still, im sure my apprehension toward this project is understandable. im going to start with the controller but i doubt ill feel much better if it goes well. im totally a believer in fate and this bad feeling im almost positive is a bad omen.

tomarrow starts again the apartment hunting. i hate my current place.
