It started peeling today. You know that scene in The Breakfast Club where Ally Sheedy covers her drawing with dandruff snow? Well, that's what the table in front of me at work looked like today...

Anyway, it looks like I'm heading out of town for the weekend. One last visit to my hometown. Well, not really, since my parents both want to be buried there and my father wants to have his funeral in his soon-to-be old funeral home even though they are about to move 15 hours away...but still, its the last time I'll see it in a long time...
I've been waiting for this day for years. I feel kinda bad for my dad, having to sell the business he started from scratch, but he will live a longer and I hope happier life now that he's selling it. Plus, he's selling it to his friend, not some corporation. But I won't be sad to leave the town behind...nothing there that I want to keep, that I want to remember...

Oh yes, I almost forgot to plug:
