Hawaii 5-0 comes on in a half an hour.
Next week is spring break and I still need to find out if I work or not. If I do, it will be one hell of a boring week with no students around. It would be nice to have some of the time off, but I really can't afford it...besides, I'd probably just sit around with the Casios and the ukelin, too lazy/distracted to turn on the 4-track.
I was hoping to have money saved up to take the week to see my lil' brother in Oregon, but I am so god damn poor right now...nothing new, but still frustrating.
Been talking with an old member of this site about starting up a small artists collective...it would be nice to do a show, but I think the other people he has in mind are a little too pop-culture fixated. They're all fans of Juxtapose...and I am not...but I've been having some Ideas about doing something centered around the alchemical nature of Harry Smith's Anthology Of American Folk Music and it would be nice to have it seen...
I also have a plan for the 5000+ little green army men that I've collected, but I think I could get arrested for it....or at least get a lot of looks of disgust...
There's a whole heath-and-safety issue that comes up if you try to incorporate dead pigeons into your work...
Update: Weird. Gunsmoke was on right before Hawaii 5-0, and they both had the exact same guest star. No idea what his name is, but he looks like a cross between Dean Martin and Gregory Peck.
Apropos of nothing, there's a good chance I'll look like Gregory Peck when I hit my 50s. That's something to look forward to...
People have been commenting on my hair a lot lately...students I see at work, the girls in roller derby... I've been wearing stocking caps since late October, so people are shocked to see me without it now that its a bit warmer. I haven't had a haircut since the summer, so its quite long now...they seem to like it...

One of my favorite sketches on that show, and I don't know why, is the one about the big band composers in the 1900s. dear lord that one tickles me.

besides, it's more of a cyclist thing than a love issue....I like your haircut by the way...hey can i take the part of the dead pigeon in your art work ???
( crazy cause oneof my friends really make s sculptures out of dead pigeons, like " dead pigeons fucking" and stuff like that.
