I love a good wedding! I know a lot of people are cynical, I know almost half of all marriages today end in divorce but that don't stop me from being an ol' romantic and loving the shit outta a good old fashioned wedding! Just getting a feeling of longing lately.
I'm still wandering around and generally loving Victoria, just feeling stagnant.
I want to be swept up in something, even if just for a short while, and that is a lot easier to do when you don't spend the majority of time alone.

The move went utterly smoothly up until the movers accidentally grabbed my SG hoodie along with theirs before leaving, and my not realizing until they were already on their way back to Vic. Which wouldn't be such a loss -- I'm sure I could convince someone to give me one of their extras -- except for the fact that my damn keys to this new apartment were in the pocket!!

Head mover claims to have couriered it all. However it has yet to arrive.

I was going to post a funny pic I took tonight of a cop car outside a donut shop to justify the stereotype but for some reason, SG crops the photo and you can't see the donut shop. frown

In Port Alberni (where I grew up) there's only one Tim Hortons, which was on a road where there were signs warning against the illegal left turn into the parking lot. Sooo often you would see a police car cruising up with lights flashing just to make that left turn and then switch them off and park.
Always ridiculous, and fairly amusing, to watch.
