Ah, sunshine, how I love thee! In The Pacific North West, one must remember, if you don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes.
I'm kicking back in the sun, rocking some Budos Band and enjoying a few "Pearl Harbors", a little cocktail I created several years ago and have not yet shared with the world at large; However, in my benevolence, and possibly old age, I've decide to gift humanity with my lovely little libation. You too can enjoy this lovely summer beverage buy adding to a shaker or glass filled with ice:
1oz Sake, 1oz Malibu, top with Limeade /Lime-en-ade or Sprite/7-up, garnish with a lime wedge.
I prefer premium draft sake but Gekkeikan Traditional (big green bottle $10) works fine.
I use regular Malibu but I'm guessing the mango and banana flavors would work well too.
I derived the name from the mix of ingredients and the fact that the the first, and last time, I enjoyed this beverage, they went down really fast and before I knew it, I was bombed.
I ended up getting kicked out of a club later that night for smoking a joint in the men's room and woke up the next morning to discover that my younger brother and friends had applied sharpy to my face.
So, be warned and enjoy responsibly.
