Mixed emotions right now. I am totally stoked for the Olympics right now as they are opening but I am saddened that the a young Georgian luger was tragically killed this morning in training when his sled went off the track. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
I used to run track as a kid and had a brief dream of runnning in the Olympics one day so I can understand the hard work, pressure and commitment it requires to chase that dream and I am very happy for all those that can achieve it; Nodar Kumaritashvili you've done you, your fellow athletes and your countrymen proud. I salute you.
