Sick on Halloween : (
I sat at home, handy out candy to the very few children that came to our door. Sad that so few kids come out in my hood; however, I'm glad the plastic costumes are gone but sad that the fabric ones are all store bought, no work goes into a kids costume anymore. 2 kids didn't even have costumes?!
I remember my dad and I made a wodden Sythe when I was 10' mom helped me sew a black cloak and hood and I was the Grim Reaper for 5 years running cause it always looked good.
Oh well, things change.
I was, however, inspired to carve a pumpkin that would please the spirits and ward off any with ill intent.
The basis is Ormagoden the Fire Beast from the video game Brutal Legend which rocks and has kept me up all night.
