Summer time and the living is easy. Well, busy is more like it.
The weather has been amazing and I'm stoked for the upcoming 24 Hour Easter Seals Relay that my team and I will be competing in this weekend. It's been a lot of work fundraising and voluntering but I'm sure it will be well worth it after I finish my leg of the relay Saturday night around 9 and get to join the party that will continue well into Sunday morning. Hey, it's for the kids but getting a party out of it is a pretty good deal too. My team has raised over $6000 in just over a month! We may have a enough to send 3 kids with special needs to a very special camp with great facilities on a beautiful lake.
And that's just the start too! Concerts, a few weddings and a family reunion are all on my summer calendar with a possible trip to Seattle Labor Day Weekend for Bumpershoots FGestival or a trip to Vegas to end it all off.
