The Phillip's guys were just at Brewery Creek, and I heard them talking about Double Dragon which reminded me to get some. Then one of them gave me a Phillip's bottle opener. It was awesome.

Soooooo, in other Vancouver news, the Canadian Women's Hockey Team has won their 3rd straight Olympic Gold in a shut-out! Congrats ladies! You and the other female athletes are leading Canada to Olympic history! Awesome!

Darkness on the Edge of Gastown.
They are still there, in the darkness, I could here them all night, Vancouver's Homeless population.
5AM wakeup down in Gastown this morning... reminded me of what is both beautiful and ugly about Vancouver. Looks gorgeaous, but there in the darkness, on the Edge of one of the World's Most Desirable Cities to live in, people are barely living....

Mixed emotions right now. I am totally stoked for the Olympics right now as they are opening but I am saddened that the a young Georgian luger was tragically killed this morning in training when his sled went off the track. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
