Not a bad weekend. My boys in the bulldog suits managed a to pull off a win and a tie against Notre Dame no less, which is a always a good way to start the year. Although my lack of a TV is really starting to bite me since it's just not the same listening to a game on the radio. Oh well, price you pay for being poor.

On the other hand, the constuction crew across the street took apart their crane and hauled it away today, so maybe the morning din will be ceasing soon. If I can get to sleep right away in the morning instead of having to wait until noon, my options could really open up. Not a bad day after all.

Especially since it is three paycheck month. Extra paychecks are always good, but never more than when things aren't breaking. I may actually be able to spend it on something fun instead of necessary. I'm thinking I need a new camera since my little sis is finally old enough to be initiated into the sledding club. I think she's big enough now to take on the big hill and I'll need to be able to record that. Her training begins this week since I pulled babysitting duty. If she wasn't so smart and adorable that might actually be a chore smile

Daily Assignment: Is today a time to let go or a time to hold on?

I'm always one for trying to hold on....
only recently have I realized the joys of letting go.

I have been looking into some new cameras also. Of course I am always looking into getting some new gadget of some sort most of the time smile

I have been telling my self to let go, but I cant help but hold onto a lot of stuff. Maybe one of these days I will truly convince myself to take my advice.

Oh and construction is so annoying. Orange cones line the highways and byways no matter where I want to go. Plus they are digging up the street right in front of my house. Very frustrating. Its supposed to be worth it. So I hear.
