I'm quite impressed with myself at the moment. not only have i got all of my Christmas shopping done (which is really unlike me), the other day i managed to get into a pair of 36" waist jeans (I'm usually a 38" waist). its not a huge amount of weight I've lost, but its some so that's good. 
On a more depressing note, i heard that whoever wins x factor this year is going to cover Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen / Jeff Buckley. it's bad enough that the winner of x factor has been the Christmas number 1 for the last God knows how many years, but now the winner is going to be covering/ ruining (delete as appropriate) one of my favourite songs! Ok, I'm going to stop there before i go off on a major rant!
