I'm a right fuckin' muppet!

I managed to mess up the booking of my flights to California! For some reason i put our return date as 29th of october instead of the 29th of september. So i ring the company, to try and cancel the flight, and get told it's a non-refundable, non-changeable ticket! My first thought is "bollocks!" my second thought is "i know, i'll just book a return flight on the correct date". but i gave up on that idea when i saw it would cost us 1200 just to get home! In the end i just booked another flight completely, with some monitary help from my dad. So it's ended up being a rather expensive holiday, and i haven't even been yet!

i just don't seem to have much luck when it comes to flying at the moment, what with this and all the fun and games getting back from Tallin last year. oh well...
