Work is really getting me down at the moment. It's not the fact that it crazily busy because everyone is panic buying because of the floods. or that one of our supervisors is leaving, leaving us in the shit. It's because we have no running water! We can't wash our hands, can't flush the toilet or make as many cups of tea as we usually do. It's getting everyone down. Plus we might not have water returned to us for up to two weeks because the pumping station that supplies us was damaged in the recent floods. it's all a bit shit, but i suppose it could be a lot worse.
But i do have a big night out on saturday to look forward to, which will cheer me up no end. especially as i'm going to be meeting up with an old friend from college who i haven't seen for a while. i like catching up with old friends.
It looks like i will be going to california in september. my friend can get the time off. my auntie said it's ok to stay at her place. all i need to do now is book the flight and it's sorted. can't wait!
