couldn't get into work yesterday, cos all the roads to gloucester were flooded, so i had a lazy day and read the whole of the new harry potter book. i really enjoyed it and think it was a fitting end for the series. but i won't spoil it for anyone. Now i can start reading First among sequals (the latest Thursday Next novel).
I quite please with myself for all the reading i've been doing recently. i used to read loads, then i just sort of stopped. but now i'm reading a lot more now. the only problem is i tend to sit and read a whole book in a day as i did with harry potter and the Forth bear (a very good book by jasper fforde). though i suppose that's not really a problem.
We've had a really beautiful day today, so i'm going to go for a nice long walk (after i've finished eating) so that i can enjoy it while it lasts, cos it's supposed to piss down for the next couple of days

things are ok, i have hurt my hand htoug, i fell down the stairs rushing to get to work this morning!
