Out of the blue today i got a text from that girl who was messing me around a while ago. i haven't heard from her in over three weeks and she texts me with no explanation as to why she's been out of touch for so long, she's just acting as if we've been really friendly over that time. I'm tempted to just ignore her text (and any further ones she may send), but that's not really my style (not that i have much in the way of style). So I'm now trying to think of a polite way to say "leave me the hell alone!"

I've decided i need a break. i keep getting really depressed at home at the moment (for no real reason), so i think i need to get away from everything for a little bit. I've got some time off work at the end of September, in which I'm going to go and visit my family in California (hopefully!), but i need some time off sooner than that. I might take a few days and go and visit my friend Mike in Cambridge. He was one of my best friends at school and college, but we've kind of drifted apart since then. Admittedly that is mostly because he moved to Cambridge about two years ago. But that shouldn't make any difference. He makes an effort to come back to the Forest to visit, so i should make the effort to go and visit him! God, that sounds like I'm arguing with myself.

I think it's that fact i didn't get much sleep last night, due to the humidity, that lead to this being such a rambling blog. Still it's my day off tomorrow, so i don't have to get up (except to go to the dentist ) and can catch up on my sleep. I'm also going to watch a couple of films to cheer myself up.
