Cardiff was great fun! 
We nearyl missed our train to get there, but luckily it was late (it's not often that i'm glad a trains late). Our first stop was Weatherspoons for a pint and something to eat, then we went and booked into our hotel (the Holiday Inn right in the centre of town, well near enough in the centre). After a bit of shopping the four of us (us being me, Andrew, his girlfriend Gem and Alan) set out for the night. What was going to be one quick drink in The Yard turned into four drinks and food, but we got coumfy (i love pubs with sofas). Next up was Old Orleansfor cocktails and shelter (it absolutely pissed down!). We braved the rain and headed over to Reflex, where we got just a soaked inside cos of the leaking roof. Things become a bit blurry after that, though i do remember playing Daytona USA (an old arcade racing game for those of you who don't know) in one place we went to. The night ended in Walkabout. i must of been wasted by then cos i was up on stage dancing with people i didn't know, which is really not like me. It was a great night, though the McDonalds we got on the way back was probably a mistake. And i could have done without being woken up the next morning by someone throwing up in the hotel car park.
Now i'm back at work (after my two weeks off) and things have gone back to being shit. Once again it's just me and Chris (one of the supervisors) running the store because of staff being on holiday or off on the sick. Oh well, we coped before so we can do it again.
