As prompted by the ever delightful Sky It's time for an update!

The date with Anna the student teacher went okay I suppose. Went to Bluu, in Manchester's Northern Quarter and eat and drink ourselves stupid.

But, there were lots of little things that just built up to irk me. She smokes which I've never had a problem with in the past (Christ, Joanne used to smoke for Britain!). But when that entails getting up and leaving te restaurant between each course? There were other things too that are probably equally picky and annoying that make me feel that maybe not seeing her again won't cut me up that much.

I'm not showing myself here to be the shining paragon of virtue as quite obviously I presented equally annoying traits to her as she's not exactly been banging my door down!

I wonder what it was exactly that made us not have that vital "spark"? Age difference, perhaps? Or just a lack of overall compatibility, maybe?

I'm glad of one thing though. I could have spent the night with her, on the precept that there would be no funny business. However, I knew that I couldn't trust myself not to try and now I'm glad I didn't succomb as now that would have been a very awkward situation for both of us I think?

Anyway, got a message from a new girl (girl ha! She's 36! which is still younger than me, bugger!), ket's see how/where this one goes eh?
