do you enjoy it? do you curse it? do you actually live it?
i have spent a lot of time thinking about how to better live my life. i used to waste so much time and energy worrying about what i have done wrong, where i could have made different choices, etc. i realized that while i was thinking about all of that, time to make change was flying by unnoticed.
i have a friend who is very ill. she has cystic fibrosis. her case is very advanced and she needs to get a double lung transplant or she will be gone within a year. imagine everyday that you are in a situation like this. scared that you will not get on the transplant waiting list. scared that you will get on the list, but still die waiting for a donor. worse yet, you get a transplant, but then your body regects. how would you live your life if you knew you were almost out of time?
