I know it's taken a long time for me to write about the shootfest. It seems like yesterday I left my SG family to go back to reality. Back in 2012 I got married to who I thought was the love of my life. Turns out I married Dr. Jekyll and Hyde. I had piercing and only 1 tattoo. While we were dating he was fine with them but afterwards he wanted me to take them out and have my tattoo removed. He wouldn't allow me to wear revealing clothing or even to really go out anywhere. Like an idiot I complied. Once we got a divorce I still didn't feel like myself. I struggled with self confidence and self love. I was really nervous about modeling for SG. But I gave it a shot. I receive so much love from all the members and other models. This really helped peak my confidence. A wonderful SGH @chef reached out to me, turns out were from almost the same area! She invited me to the shootfest. I had a lot of anxiety thinking about going. But as soon as I arrived every one of the girls made me feel at home. @little and I bonded quickly after spending hours trying to figure out the TV. I shot with @chef shes working on my soccer set! she is an amazing person inside and out! We even shot a multi together with @zen. We had a blast! @cassideecash shot the first set while I was there we got really creative with the small space we had. She really helped me get into the flow of a Shootfest. I also shot with the amazing @sawasawa she is a beautiful person she gave great advice and taught me some photography tricks when it comes to lighting and reflectors I cant wait to see the set come out. I also got great modeling tips from @caustix! @aerie and @cygnet are pros at posing! @athenaea @saiyan @libris @prettyneurotic @kpax @sairyn @chalk @eminence @starphire @lepidolite @fresa @filicity @gaiah @wednesdaya are all nothing short of amazing! I cant thank everyone enough for making me feel loved and confident. I found a whole new family and cannot wait until next time!
