Life sometimes reminds me of Monty Python -- or is it the other way around? Life's a piece of shit -- when you look at it... sung, of course, by Eric Idle. But then it's also interspersed with fun and... well... something I'll now coin (remember, you heard it here first!) "anti-shit"...
Despite all the insane crap I have to deal with, I still manage to eke out some fun when I can. In April I vacationed in Santa Barbara and had a great time. This July I'm heading over to Virgina ["lovely, wonderful Virgina" - 7Cyns!!] and in September it looks like I might be heading to Hawaii for a while. The whole Hawaii thing is tentative -- although I must be thick in the head to even consider passing up an invite to stay on a beatiful tropical island, sharing a room with my three favorite gfs! (the ones listed in the Current Crush part of my profile)
I guess I'm making up my mind as I sit here and type about it. It would be just as stupid to pass that up as it would be to decline an offer from Angelina Jolie to go out on a date...
I bitch about crap, recent events, my problems, whatever, but I guess the mad up-and-down swings are better than just a boring flatline life, eh?! I think that's one of the things I like about SG -- most everyone I meet is pretty interesting, not exactly dull folk here. The online connections are tenuous, yet contain a certain amount of meaning. It also helps that there's a reasonable certainty that the really interesting girl I'm chatting with isn't really some unshaven guy in his 30's wearing a trenchcoat and living in his parent's basement. Almost every day I look forward to chatting with a few good folks I've met here (you know who you are!) and that's what brought me back to SG after a month-long hiatus.
I'd offer to see if anybody wanted to join the four of us in paradise in September, but the bed only sleeps four snuggly! Sorry, y'all! I'll send you an electronic postcard when I return...

You could make it up to me by coming over and asking me some questions....
In any case, I shall begin to "smell the roses" on a more regular basis. I have had a really really shitty past couple of years and I need to make up for it.
Well damn damn damn, I was counting on your being a millionaire so that you could back me on my B&B.
I really did find a plantaion house about an hour from here last year. It would have been a total money pit. Didn't even have electricity. But Oh God it was spectacular, looking at it and seeing what it once was and could be again.
Well I need to go face the oh so shitty traffic around here, have some nuisance errends to run. If I don't get back to you today, have a good one.
BTW:
Yes I am a python fan, my dad got me hooked years ago. "it's good to be the King" ha ha ha I really do need to go get that movie. hhmmmm blue eyes, yes I certainly do love blue eyed men! NO SHIT, Mickey Mouse, I like you more and more every day
