I'm back, after a year or so hiatus, but sg made me a membership offer I couldn't refuse. Things have improved since the last entry: Lambwife and The Captain (they're married to each other) have started sleeping together and are being quite friendly and civil, though still not conjugally - that could be a long time, if ever. The Captain in fact seems to be becoming celibate, according to Lionwife's report: she has a hard time seducing him anymore.
The Cellist took the Lamb to Hawaii for her birthday, and brought me as part of the present. We had a great time, and some inCredible sex, both in pairs and in three. Lambwife hasn't been making love with The 'Cellist since then, but they're going to Las Vegas on a date next week, and I'm hopeful that something will happen. It's hard with two basically straight bigirls: they're both so used to sex with men and letting the other party do the seductive work, it's hard to get either of them to aggress.
Difficult news is that, since I left the list, both Lambie and The Captain have been diagnosed with Lyme disease. They're both in a lot of pain a lot of the time, are doing intense antibiotic and alternative treatments, and are showing some improvement. It sure explains a lot about what's gone on with both for years...
The most recent upheaval is that Lionwife took on a lover - I'll call him The Quaker - withouth really getting permission. She mentioned that it was a possibility, but everyone had they're reservations because he (our former housemate who married a Satanist, had a baby, and was painfully horribly dumped) is bi, with a long and checkered history featuring an HIV+ lover, and we all wanted to know more. The good news is, he was thoroughly tested before, hasn't had a lover for 3 months, and they used a condom, but still, The Lamb, with all her health difficulties, is very leary of the whole thing. She was really furious, and is still withholding some levels of sex from me because she wants the Lion to take tests too, and I'm happy to let her take her time. She's still pissed, but the two of them (Lion and Lamb) are trying to heal their relationship, going out for tea and whatnot - have one in a couple of hours, actually.
The even better news is, the whole experience has triggered The Lion's declining sex drive into a whole new explosive phase, and we're having more interesting sex than we've had since she gave up pot a decade ago. She's expecting The Quaker to be a temporary thing, till he finds another lover, but it's working well for her so far.
It's all good. The 'Cellist comes out here for the holidays after Vegas, and we'll have a lovely time. New Year's party them this year is Hawaii '05, with grass skirts, coconut bras, ukeleles, and my son's band. (I have no idea what they're playing). Glad to be back on the site: I hope I don't become too obsessed...
