I spent the greater portion of this afternoon crying and I couldn't be happier about it! I am a soon-to-be proud aunt. Or as I prefer to put it - anut. My sister is pregnant with a beautiful baby girl! I've known for several months that she was pregnant, however, until today we didn't know the gender. While a boy would have been just as fabulous, I'm elated that she's a she. Now I can buy a zillion and one adorable pink Hello Kitty outfits. Perhaps I should just buy stock in Sanrio. With as many Hello Kitty accoutrements as I've purchased, surely I deserve a position on the stockholder's board. But not to get off topic here - I'M GOING TO BE AN AUNT!!!!! This will be the first child for my siblings. I plan on spoiling her silly! Oh good lord, I just started to cry all over again, tears of joy, of course. The baby is due in July. Please think happy, healthy thoughts for my sister, her husband and their little one. I cannot wait to hold her in my arms and witness her magic firsthand. Life never ceases to amaze me.
