Sooooo... the other day I was feeling crafty and look what I did!!! I made a pirate ship birthday cake for my friend's party. Usually I'm my own worst critic, but I must say this time I rocked my own socks. I've never been so enthusiastic about a trip to the grocery store. I must have spent hours in the candy aisle looking for cake accessories.
It's now my new goal in life to make silly cakes for every party I attend. I already have one order for a pink poodle cake. I figure I'll just kill the annoying mini-poodle next door and dip it in batter.
A note to aspiring pirate cake makers - apparently birthday cake pirate ships are not made for traveling long distances. Half way there, the ship split down the middle and one mast fell over. ::sigh:: Some things are just not meant to be in this world for long. So instead of a pirate ship cake, she got a pirate shipwreck cake. Yarrrrr!!!!!

I saw your SG Philly post for a helper for the Flower Show. I work on weekends, but could do the Friday and Sunday gig.
