after over a decade of being either high or drunk everyday i am giving sobriety a shot...i'm always down to try new things so i figured why not...i'm on day 5 and the only bad part has been that i can't sleep...i'm like a fucking zombie but whatever...i gave up cigarettes too for the trifecta...other than that...same old shit...good luck to everyone with resolutions

Funny that I didn't know of that Petey Wheatstraw movie until I went searching for some Peetie Wheatstraw info to link to... I'm fond of pre-war blues. Hope things are going well so far, most of us hard drinking folks don't sleep well for a while after giving it up. It'll get back to normal eventually & the benifit will be better sleep, hang in there.

I could not imagine my life without pot. Whenever I go to my psychiatrist he asks me how much I've been smoking and if I have any plans on cutting back/ quitting. My answer is always the same: multiple times a day and no where in the near future.

I go through times when I just don't feel like somking, because I'm also very unproductive when I smoke a lot. I'll feel really great at first, all clear-headed, but then I start to get stressed out like I always do when I don't have pot to mellow me out. But, I think it is good to take a break every now and then.
